I have been called a voracious creator, driven by an unwavering enthusiasm and desire to make things happen. I want to improve, grow, and express. More than anything I am in the pursuit of the satisfaction of a project well done, or at least, a new experience unlocked. I enjoy working professionally on commercial projects just as much as I love my own artistic wanderings.

I do not limit myself in medium, because I see all of life as part of the act of creation. I like to push my own boundaries in new and old mediums whenever I have a chance. I work quite a bit in digital, acrylic and watercolor but also enjoy crafting, weaving, writing, producing theatre and experimenting with anything I can get my hands on.  I use my aesthetic senses to cultivate the earth and my home as well, molding my environment into a beautiful and productive place. Unsurprisingly, this leads to much of my art being influenced by the natural world and the beauty of the world. I enjoy art history and am slightly obsessed with portraiture and the human figure, which is reflected in my personal work, and am deeply touched by the experience of being a mother.

 

Enthusiasm can be mustered for nearly anything I put my mind to, and so has grown into a flair for commercial art, graphic design and social media management. I find it a fun challenge to envision a brand and go through the iterating process with a team, and to help convey what message they are trying to get across. I am most happy when championing a new project or event and especially when working on local events or issues that can benefit our community directly.
